Chalcot Montessori School is a small friendly school that offers a French and English bilingual experience in
an A.M.I. Montessori setting for children between the ages of 2½ to 6 years. It has experienced staff,
both French and English, and a full range of Montessori equipment.
The premises are located in a private road with access to a large garden. The school year divides into three terms, each of 11-12 weeks, and the children attend a five day week, Monday to Friday.
When starting school, children are placed in a reception group from 11.30am - 1pm and once settled, may stay for the full morning (8:55am - 12 noon) or extended morning (9am - 1pm).
Joanna Morfey is a qualified Montessori Directress. She taught for several years in Paris and later ran a Montessori school near Hampton Court (Richmond-upon-Thames) before establishing Chalcot Montessori School in 1988.
